Not a particularly noteworthy comic, but it has personal importance to me. After school, when I was in 8th Grade, I used to go to a used bookstore that a few boxes of smelly, old comics. One day I went there and found a bunch of kinda valuable ones. This was one of them.
Anyway, on the Human Torch side, as you can see from the cover, he takes on Paste-Pot Pete. Strangely, though, he’s billed as a “New Menace.”
He’s not.
He’s neither new nor, frankly, a menace.
He is, however, improved…
But Thing and Torch defeat him fairly easily.
Then in the back half of the book there’s a non-memorable Strange story.
