Issue #20 is giant-sized and reprints three other comics that featured Spider Slayers. The original content, which covers two issues, reveals that J. Jonah Jameson is the guy who stole Spider-Man’s costume several issues ago.
He uses it to get Spider-Man to come to the Daily bugle and attack him with Spider Slayers–because Jonah is being blackmailed by Alistaire Smythe.
And these spider-slayers can actually read his mind so they know where Aunt May lives. (Really???)
Spidey saves Jonah and May and then Jonah beats Smythe with a baseball bat.
Wow. That’s actually a lot more hardcore than what I expected.
