Mariko has been dead for years–killed by Wolverine, who slayed her to end her suffering after she was poisoned. In this miniseries, her spirit pulls Wolverine back in time to Feudal Japan, where we the readers are dazzled by amazing art.
As for story–there’s not much. The whole thing is likely a dream. But it’s one of the most beautiful comics of its time.
If you like the art, Mr. Pratt sells it on his site. Were I the type to hang comic book art, I would certainly consider it.
