She was ( and remains ) my fourth “black girl crush”, only behind Diahann Carroll’s “Julia”, Nichelle Nichol’s “Lieutenant Uhura”, and Teresa Graves’ “Get Christie Love!!” ( hmmm- all three of these ladies are now dead- strange ) Let’s hope Halle Berry and Alexandria Shipp stay with us for quite some time to come!
