A crimelord starts trying to assassinate rich people in Los Angeles. Wonder Man foils the plot, and also takes on a mystical statue called Angkor. And struggles with being a role model to his new kid sidekicks.
Yes, his supporting cast is hit with ionic radiation, suggesting they will get powers. They will ultimately be known as the “Crazy 8,” but won’t travel beyond the pages of Wonder Man magazine so I am not tagging them.
At the end of #12, the tie-in with Infinity War starts.
Regular artist Jeff Johnson takes a break for #11 and #12, and the quality of the book declines significantly as a result.
