Batroc attacks Hawkeye, along with Zaran and Machete. They were hired by Oddball, who in turn was working with Taskmaster.
Batroc, Oddball, and Taskmaster each get their own chapters in the story. In the Taskmaster chapter, he shrinks Hawkeye and Firestar and Justice, who are along with him on this adventure and also are providing internet research on one of the villains.
They have to work their way through a deadly maze to get the serum that will make them full-size again.
The New Warriors arrive at the end to help save the day.
