At the funeral for Joseph, some X-Men are kidnapped by some aliens and are shunted into an alternative dimension that also holds Juggernaut.
Only he’s bigger.
Then they have to hope through other weird versions of Earth, themselves…
…and other heroes…
…including a Human Torch with the vocabulary of Reed Richards…
…until they finally confront Galactus.
(The fake heroes are all skrulls.)
They’re still lost in space when this arc ends, and we’re promised the return of Douglock next.
It’s not surprising that as soon as Alan Davis signs on as a writer and artist we get the kind of Excalibur stories that are fun to look at but boring to read.
