Tigra goes back to her past to investigate the murder of her husband, many years ago. The story has Tigra moving back-and-forth into human form, and as Greer Nelson she goes undercover as a police officer to expose corrupt cops. And at the end of the book, she quits the Avengers and decides to still be a police officer.
She also has a tail.
