This book has lacked a consistent creative team for a while now, and the quality continues to dip. Owl kidnaps Curt Connors’ family to force him to regenerate his broken back, but Curt Lizards-out to rescue them.
It ends with Connors apparently able to control his transformations and his lizard-self, and saying he will “Never again” let Lizard dominate him.
But of course we know that’s not true.
Honestly, Spider-Man wasn’t even needed for this story.
