Ooof. Look at that art.
Daredevil takes on Mr. Fear and Mr. Fear’s daughter, a character named Shock (who is never seen again). Fear makes DD hallucinate Elektra.
Also, Kingpin is back–there are several interludes with him doing mean things to bad people, seeking to re-establish his own dominance.
The art makes this story practically unreadable. Scott McDaniel would go on to draw Batman, and by that time he was a much better artist.
McDaniel is certainly no Neal Adams, but he’s certainly not the worst artist out there. Ever hear of Frank Robbins??
