MARVEL GRAPHIC NOVEL: IRON MAN: CRASH (1988)

This was an experiment: The first Marvel Graphic Novel (and one of the only comics at the time) made completely on a computer. Creators Mike Saenz (writer/artist) and William Bates (programmer) didn’t go on to do anything else for Marvel and I’m not even sure this is canon. It’s noted here for its importance as an experiment, but it wasn’t a very good comic.

It included several pages of discussion about how the book was created–further evidence that this was a technical project more than an artistic one.
