Nightcrawler and Daytripper (Amanda Sefton) go to Germany to rescue Amanda’s mother, Margali (a powerful witch/demon)–and the city where she grew up–from D’Spayre.
The town is full of anti-freak hatred, which means Nightcrawler re-lives his own past in Germany, where he was persecuted as a youth.
Meanwhile, in Maine, Unit Zero is hunted by Stryfe but is found by a member of Phalanx that appears to host Doug Ramsey’s memories.
