X-Factor #56-58 (1990)

Archangel becomes a Punisher-style vigilante, killing criminals, which attracts the interests of a local psychic vampire collective (they appear here but never again) who kidnap him and try to make him theirs.

X-Factor disapproves of Angel’s killing criminals, but not because they don’t believe in killing.

Or maybe they’re just worried about their image, now that X-Factor has become a publicly recognized and approved superhero team like The Avengers.

Turns out, the public likes him.

Oh, and of course X-Factor saves Archangel from the vamps.

A solid story.
