Attack of the boyfriends! Jack Norriss, who was married to Barbara Norriss, whose body Valkyrie stole so she could manifest on Earth is called to testify, along with Patsy “Hellcat” Walker’s ex-husband Colonel Baxter, about how bad The Defenders are. Norriss storms out of the secret meeting—held by “The Tribunal”—and swears he will warn the Defenders that the government is after them.
The tribunal appears to me to be part of the Secret Empire storyline, but all these generic-named evil groups are hard to keep straight. Anyway, Mutant Force is involved with both of them if they are not the same.
The story is called, “Inquest.” Most boring comic book title ever. More happens, but it’s all just bad.
