Agent X does a job for an “omni-fetishist,” which basically means he’s turned on by taking an ice cream bath, fine fabrics…Anything. It inspired Alex to start a mercenary business on his own and invites Taskmaster and Outlaw, but they decline. Mary Zero agrees, though.
Gail Simone is one of the best writers in the biz, so this reads well. At the same time, the market for offbeat/weird+sex is getting a little crowded, and it’s easy for this book to get lost in that suffle.
