This issue is full of all flavors of Mark Gruenwald continuity-nerd fun. New Cap and new Bucky take on Mandroids and The Leviathan (a human giant from The Defenders #130) in a battle against Professor Power’s Secret Empire (also last seen in Defenders #130).

There’s also an interlude with Steve Rogers’ gang (D-man, Falcon and Nomad) being in jail with members of the Serpent Society after the big battle last issue. I’m assuming Vagabond wasn’t captured by the cops and/or wouldn’t be in a holding cell with men anyway. (She doesn’t appear and there’s no explanation.)
