USAgent was one of those characters who was always on the cusp of being interesting. But he never quite made it.
His 1993 miniseries has the inferior version of Captain America fighting an inferior copycat of Scourge. USAgent does things like argue with Hawkeye (which Cap used to do). And hands out with some other Avengers friends, too.
And just like in the original Scourge (who was actually pretty fun), new Scourge hunts down lame supervillains like some woman named Mysteria (who I confess to not remembering at all).
Eventually he takes down new Scourge. Along the way he flashes back a bunch of backstory about his origin.
