After having him as a guest star in Amazing Spider-Man #611, Spidey returns the favor for a three-issue arc in Deadpool’s book.

Deadpool has been trying to figure out how to be a hero, and after having flunked out of the X-Men, he sees what it would be like to act like he has great responsibility.
The “plot,” such as it is, features Hit-Monkey getting a contract to kill Deadpool. Along the way, Wade gets imprisoned at Rikers and Spider-Man busts him out before telling him to get the Hell out of New York City.

I have to say that that doesn’t sit right with me. There’s no reason for Spider-Man to commit a major crime here. Deadpool is more than capable of figuring out how to get out of jail.
Needless to say, this is far from essential reading. It’s fun enough to read all the way through, with the jokes landing about as often as they don’t, but nothing in here will stick to your ribs.
