Iron Man is sent to a clinic to heal after sustaining significant injuries, but the clinic is run by Controller.
I’m sure it is no coincidence that Controller first appeared in Invincible Iron Man #12 and was first defeated in #13, and Busiek had him appear at the end of issue #12 of this run and get defeated in this issue, #13.
