MARC SPECTOR: MOON KNIGHT #34 (1992)

Killer Shrike blew Frenchie’s copter out of the sky and almost killed him.

In this issue, Frenchie seeks vengeance. Which means Moon Knight has to fly his own copter.

Moon Knight tracks Frenchie and goes after him.

And watches from afar to protect his friend.

This has a similar feel to Frank Miller’s brilliant “Guts” story from Daredevil #185.

This is a single-issue story by former writer of this title Chuck Dixon, and it finishes the threads I”m sure he intended to develop before he left the title.

It’s hard to develop side characters when your creators keep coming-and-going, so I’m glad that if Marvel couldn’t commit to a single series scripter, at least they let Dixon finish what he started.
