MARVEL GRAPHIC NOVEL: PUNISHER AND BLACK WIDOW: SPINNING DOOMSDAY’S WEB (1992)

Graphic novels and one-shots about Punisher flooded the market in the early ’90s. The creative team behind this one is interesting. DG Chichester wrote a solid and underrated Daredevil run, and Larry Stroman is the unusual artist of X-Factor.

Sadly, I didn’t find anything interesting here.  Except for Black Widow doing a little gender-swap undercover work…

It’s a slightly sub-par spy story.  They fight, they team up, they win. It’s very violent, very gorey.

I did enjoy Stroman drawing these characters, though.
