Spider-Woman #48 (1983)


Spider Woman vs. Gypsy Moth, who has a new career as a pusher.  Remember, in 1983 the War on Drugs was ahead full steam.

Gypsy’s power is to control “strands” of things, so Spider-Woman rips off her own hair to escape being drowned by it.  Hm.  Looks very painful.

After beating the Moth, Jessica visits with Jack Russell, who puts himself in a cage when the moon is full.  It’s nice to see that someone is keeping that character alive.
