This is a terrible story, but I’m covering it because it is the first appearance of Ulysses Bloodstone, a man made immortal by a “bloodstone” in his chest, who hunts monsters. It’s not a bad idea, it’s just not done well at all.
He’s not a major character. He gets just one big story, in Captain America, and it’s not until the early 1990s. But his daughter, Elsa, has more appearances even later on.
