This issue introduces Diablo, who is a pretty major villain but…I’m not a big fan.
He’s like a magician, making flowers magically appear.
He makes Thing gorgeous as part of a master plan to turn Ben Grimm against his team-mates.
Another story where the team breaks up (although coming this early in the series, it’s not tired, overused trope yet) and another story where Ben Grimm wants to look normal. I don’t buy that he would sell himself out for a cure, but whatever.
The team looks for him.
Sometimes Reed is gross.
They fight, but eventually Ben goes back to being a member of the FF and to being rocky again.
Then they fight Diablo.
