Steve Gerber leaves the solo Satan title, and goes out with an issue that has a higher body count than I think any other Marvel book thus far. Son of Satan burns at least 20 Nihilist followers alive in this issue before killing Darklyte, their leader. This is a hardcore way to kill people, and yet nobody seems to have a problem with it.

Hey- fighting evil is a tough business, and sometimes it takes lethal force. Legally, it’s categorized as “justifiable homicide.” Anyway, who’s gonna miss a bunch of idiotic Satanists-?? In any event, I certainly wouldn’t mess with the Son of Satan.
