If it were written by anyone other than Jim Starlin I would be very leery of a solo story about Pip the Troll, even if it were only 8-pages long. But this one is by Starlin, and it makes for a fun little diversion as Pip hangs out on Monster Island.

And experiences that island’s equivalent of ants at the picnic.
Then, Demogoblin fights Spider-Man’s doppleganger and NYPD’s Code Blue team. It’s fine for what it is, and it’s elevated by Gene Colan’s art.
