Marvel Comics Presents #112 (1992): Pip and Demogoblin

Two short stories in this issue. Let’s get right to it.

If it were written by anyone other than Jim Starlin I would be very leery of a solo story about Pip the Troll, even if it were only 8-pages long.  But this one is by Starlin, and it makes for a fun little diversion as Pip hangs out on Monster Island.

And experiences that island’s equivalent of ants at the picnic.

Then, Demogoblin fights Spider-Man’s doppleganger and NYPD’s Code Blue team. It’s fine for what it is, and it’s elevated by Gene Colan’s art.

Both short stories are Infinity War tie-ins.
