Ororo goes back to Cairo to be with a dying friend, someone who taught her how to be a thief. Gambit and Jean Grey go with her.
Notably, Jean is sensitive enough to cover her head.

Storm is not.
Candra arrives as well. Her goal is to take over the dying Achmed’s band of thieves.

Storm meets some of the new street urchins in Cairo, walks down memory lane a bunch, and, of course, ends up in conflict with Candra. Ultimately, the thieves–all young runaways–reject Candra’s leadership and decide to go it alone.
Storm warns them that Candra will be back.
A simple and nice done-in-one.
