I’m a fan of Devil-Slayer, or at least I liked him in the Defenders. In this short story, he fights a bunch of demons in the realm of his “shadow cloak” using the slain Valkyrie’s sword, Dragonfang. The sword is personified, and it needs to slay some demons to be reclaimed by Valhalla.
It’s a nice tribute to these characters, who have been relegated to the background post-Defenders.
The story is also a bit longer than usual–rather than four 8-pagers crammed into one issue, there are only three this time.
