First off, a note about the narrator of this series: The Watcher looks significantly different every issue. Different outfit. Here he’s got a ridiculously long arm and very short legs. And he looks kinda fat.
Anyway, this story, “What if the World Knew Daredevil Was Blind?” is yet another What If? that came true in the 616. This one, multiple times.
This issue’s main story actually has a happy ending: Matt gives up being Daredevil and marries Karen Page. I think that’s a first for this series.
There’s also a second feature by Scott Shaw that asks, “What if the Spider had been bitten by a radioactive human?”
Yeah, it’s very silly–but look at the intro sequence.
Marvel actually let Shaw slip in a reference to how Marvel did Steve Gerber dirty over Howard the Duck!
