This is a pretty bad multi-part story where Havok meets a girl in the Australian outback who has ties to The Living Pharaoh. There’s a lot of awkward love talk between the two of them—I mean, really awkward and bad—as they travel to Egypt to take on the Pharaoh’s cult, which practices human sacrifice.
Eventually, the girl turns out to be a bad guy—she’s the reincarnation of the Living Pharaoh, who calls herself Plasma.
Wolverine comes in to help Havok because, really, the dude is hopelessly incompetent. The LP’s daughter basically leads him around by the nose for the entire tale. At the end, though, he has new confidence.
Ugh.
