Iron Man’s armor can change expressions at the mouth and eyes, to show how he’s sad in the top panel of the page, and grimly resolute at the bottom. I know this is unrealistic, but I like how Gene does it in such a way that you barely notice–it just conveys expression the way that vocal quality would in a movie.
