Nice cover. The team has an open house for its new location and it’s mostly just a lot of retrospection and guest stars. And a bit of sexual harassment.

For reasons that are unclear, the author thought it would be a good idea to end in an alternate reality. On the day before their fateful rocket trip, Reed is worried he might have made a mistake in his calculations. Despite that they were much younger, Reed still had grey temples.

Reed is worried about the trip and Sue decides they should all have a picnic before they go.

So, basically, if she’d let him stew and ruminate more, maybe they’d have avoided the accident? Or is that the trip gets delayed one day for the picnic and it’s fine the next day? I dunno. And didn’t Victor Von Doom sabotage the craft? So why does ANY of this matter?
(It doesn’t.)
