Last issue, X-51 “died.” This issue appears to start showing his origin, years ago, being created by Professor Abel Stack. We see Machine Man’s evolution, including his recent upgrades from Bastion, and end the issue seeing him re-form–and we know that the narrative were all his robotic “memories.” In other words, his life was flashing before his own eyes.
This issue continues to be full of surprises. It’s great.
