In his quest to be a superhero, the new Green Goblin decides to up his cred by joining a team. Only he figures the good teams are all booked up. So, he “auditions” for the New Warriors by breaking into their compound.

Thinking they’re under attack, they fight him (and win fairly easily).

The punchline is pretty funny. Justice decides to give Goblin a slot on the team (perhaps due to the fact that he, himself, is an ex-con), and Goblin responds by declining the offer.

Then he spends the second half of the book beating up Rhino.
I expected to hate this book, especially given that it’s written by Tom DeFalco, but it’s actually pretty good.
