Gotham Central’s tie-in to the implosion of the DCU (aka Final Crisis), was pretty good. It predated Marvel’s Civil War: Frontline, so I’m pretty sure it was the first time we saw a huge event from a “normal person” perspective. It also foreshadows Renee Montoya becoming The Spectre, which happened after Gotham Central wrapped up.
