If Ann Nocenti is taking over writing this book, it should get real weird and real interesting real fast.
This story creates a new Mad Dog, a second renegade super soldier/monster produced by the same doctor who created the original Mad Dog way back in a very weird 3-issue Nocenti arc that crossed over all three Spider-books. He’s assisted by Dr. Cronenborg, an obvious intention to reference David Cronenberg, the brilliant, off-beat film director.
This one is called Mad Dog 2020. He’s also called “Brainstorm.”
But Mad Dog 2020 is a much cooler name. He’s never seen again.
