The Frightful Four actually win the battle and blow up a “Q-Bomb.”
As a result, the F4 are left without their powers for next issue, with Thing reverting to human form. Neat!
I believe I must say, Mr.Benjamin J. Grimm is a man ( Thing? ) after my own heart! He certainly understands the practical applications of corporal discipline!! Actually, I shudder to think of the damage that his massive, powerful, rock-covered grabber could do to soft female ass! Of course, the ever-imperious Miss Douglas sorely deserves it, and even the usually-pleasant Miss Storm has her moments! Reed is such a weenie, though, that Sue could turn into a psychotic, spike-collared, black-leathered “Malice-ious” super-bitch before he would take her to knee! ( of course, he DID slap the piss out of her to shock her out of her “Malicious” mode, in FF#285, I do believe ) Daredevil and the Black Widow cohabitated in her fabulous Bay-Area mansion throughout the early Seventies, until her rent-budget ran out. DD has always struck me as a “no-nonsense/authoritarian” type of dude, it makes me wonder how many spankings Madame Natasha collected from HIS firm hand during this period. Considering Natasha’s dating history, I figure she’s as open-minded over sexual practices as it gets! ( good for her! ) Russian sexual mores are probably also as wide-open as it gets!
