While running a training session at Avengers Mansion, Cap gets a call on his Avengers ID card.
Those things are cell phones? Cool.
His old girflriend, Bernie Rosenthal, has gotten mixed up with the domestic terrorism group.
US Agent finds out and teams up with Cap. They don’t like each other, but they agree to partner for the greater good.
Then they beat up the Watchdogs.
There are Diamondback backups showing her being hunted by the Serpent Society. The big reveal is that they, in turn, are hunted by MODAM.
This is the prelude for the next story arc.
