I think this was the first time Doc Ock was in a book without Spider-Man.
Cap gets a letter at Avengers Mansion from an old war buddy whose son has joined a biker gang. Cap goes to get him out of the gang, which means he needs…a custom motorcycle!
It turns out the gang is working with Doc Ock, who tricks Cap and steals his shield–hoping to duplicate the alloy and make better arms from it.
He isn’t able to hold on to it for long. He flees rather than finish things with Cap.
Interesting seeing Captain America battle Doctor Octopus instead of his usual adversary Spiderman. Are Spiderman and Doc Oc still having a body switch in the current comics?
