First off, Thing ends up in a hole again. That hasn’t happened for a while.
Then, Ant Man arrives and they do some stuff together. And Green Jim Shooter makes an appearance in a poster in Scott “Ant-Man” Lang’s daughter, Cassie’s room.

They go to a microverse where Thing is a gladiator and has lots of status, then they leave because nobody ever leaves situations like that alone. But overall, it’s not a bad comic.
You have a wonderful website that is great for Marvel research. I usually agree with your issue grades. A few years ago, I received this issue when a friend gifted me with a random comic from his collection. I think it has a dreadful story and thoroughly mediocre art. A Thing-focused fan page writes that, with #87, Marvel-Two-In-One was officially on its deathbed. You are certainly entitled to your own opinion. But that #87 rates a ‘C’, equal or better than the famous Captain America ‘Nomad’ storyline, seems way too generous. I wouldn’t give it more than a ‘D’ (or worse).
Thanks for reading! I get that we can disagree sometimes, and that’s cool. I just like anyone who reads comics!
