AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #126 (1973): Harry becomes Green Goblin; Kangaroo dies

There are several reasons you might find this to be an important issue.  #1: Kangaroo returns.  Probably not that one.  But he does die, after being sent by Dr. Jonas Harrow into a nuclear reactor.

#2: Harry Osborn puts on his father’s Green Goblin suit for the first time, marking the first legacy Marvel villain and a very creative way to revive Spidey’s deadliest foe.  Maybe that one.  But not for me.

  1. My 1st Spidey comic off the stands. The two dudes look suspiciously like Stan & Roy, but Conway wouldn’t put them in there because they push the whole Spider-Car thing on him…
