In #9, the team returns to the Microverse after their trip to the 616 where they met Man-Thing and Commander Rann temporarily got the power of Captain Universe.
There’s more battles with Baron Karza, and he ends the fight in pieces.
I couldn’t find a good picture of the toy, but the arms, legs, and head of the toy were attached by magnets to the torso. You can kind of see it here:
So that final shot from issue #11 seems to be a direct tie to the toy.
