I have to admire what Archie Goodwin is trying to do here: He’s taking an EC Comics approach to a technological supercharacter. That is, an old fashioned horror threat resolved by Iron Man. The opening shot, above, says it all.
Turns out, though, it’s not voodoo that’s causing problems for Stark’s Caribbean-Island factory. It’s an old man who wants Stark’s girl.
