AMAZING ADVENTURES #17-38 (1973-1976)

Issue #17 reprints fragments of X-Men comics to show the “origin” of the Beast, and then with #18, this comic becomes a vehicle for Killraven, a character who exists in a post-apocalyptic universe based on H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds. It’s beyond the scope of this site, which is about the 616 universe, but in issue #38, he has a dream…

Note that the characters in his dream include 616 heroes but also the original Guardians of the Galaxy, who are from a different future.

I’m not tagging them because it’s only a dream, but I thought I’d include it for kicks and giggles.

  1. I agree. Post-apocalyptica sucks, Keith Giffen’s ( the poor man’s Kirby ) artwork sucks, and so-called “superheroes” who run around in gay-looking ‘S&M’ lingerie- well- suck!! ( undoubtedly literally ) Only the literacy of these stories prevents them from being an overall “F”! As is- as you say- “C-“.
