A one-and-done story focusing on a woman who thinks Spider-Man keeps fighting villains around her just to impress her. It goes through her life: High School, College, adult life…Along the way, she tries to take a restraining order out against him, and allies with the Daily Bugle.
It ends with her on a park bench, old and still delusional. She meets another old woman, who happens to be Spider-Man’s widow.
I’m assuming it’s Mary Jane.
This is a very different kind of one-off, and of course it’s written well. Not sure if it’s canon. I mean, the part in the future at least. The story itself is weirdly dark and creepy, but it’s told comedically so…It doesn’t really land well.
