Thusly, JMS and Mike Deodato parallel the events in New Avengers in the pages of Amazing Spider-man. Obviously, this makes for some fun scenes…
There’s also a Hydra subplot that is difficult to care about, and that will ALSO cross over into New Avengers.
This is why having Spider-Man on a team can be problematic: I’ve always really enjoyed Spider-Man’s own universe. Now, he’s inextricably intertwined.
