For two short stories in these issues, we get unrelated tales of vampires. First, an historic flashback about Varnae–the original vampire, who spawned Dracula and, apparently, fought Thor.
That was in issue #63. In #64, there is another past-story: Blade fighting Drac himself.
It retells the story of Drac taking Blade’s girlfriend and vamping her. It’s just a reintroduction to the character, who hasn’t been around much lately because (as he laments in the story) there aren’t any vampires anymore. So he has nothing to do.
