War Machine is working with Nick Fury now. This is what that looks like:
War Machine has tangled with Nick Fury, so why not mess with Cap now? Rhodey goes back in time (to an alternate reality as well) to fight in WW2 with Nick and Captain America.
When SHIELD takes him back to the future, they lose his war machine armor.
Rhodey tries to tell himself it’s a good thing but no, it’s not. It’s really not. But it could be worse. He then has an armorless adventure and look at what Hawkeye is wearing:
But then at the end of #18 an alien gives him a new set of armor!
Honestly, this series feels like it’s being written by a six year old who is making it all up as they go along.
I’d like to tell you that this arc all ends with him getting his regular armor back, but it doesn’t.
