Marvel Comics Presents #166-168 (1994): Spider-Woman

“The Great American Mall Shoot-Out.” That’s a pretty triggering story title nowadays.

And no, I didn’t mean that to be a pun. This story has Spider-Woman taking down a madman with a gun at a shopping mall. At least that’s what we’re led to believe.

It turns out, she was the target and he’s a stalker.

This started out looking like a very daring (especially in ’94) tale about guns in America–but it ended up differently.

Oh well.

Spider-Woman’s Force Works team mates make a guest appearance.
