For four issues, Astonishing Tales becomes a vehicle for It! the Living Colossus.
Picking right up where Tales of Suspense #20 left off, a Hollywood producer revives It! to be in his King Kong rip-off movie. The wheelchair-bound Bob Bryan forms a psychic bond with It! so that he can control It! It! fights off an invasion of alien gargoyles, with the help of Fin Fang Foom.
Then they fight each other.
Not much story here, but it’s a fun read. And I love what they did with the letter page…
